Drum your way to a deeper understanding of one of the most enchanting musical traditions of Persian percussion music. This course is for Daf students of ALL LEVELS that would like to improve their skills on Daf. Enroll today and not only learn more Daf but also join a community of students eager to learn!

Goals of the Program

Students will learn how to play daf in a group setting. Much like the Daf Drum Circle, students will learn more in depth of what it takes to play in an ensemble.


Level & Age Requirements

This group class is open to students ages 11+
This class is designed for students of ALL LEVELS who have previously had experience on Daf or who are absolute beginners. There are two teachers for the course so students will be accommodated accordingly.

Course Date & Time

The Beginning Daf Group Course will be held on Fridays, September 12th from 6:30PM-8:00PM.


Faculty

The teaching staff will include distinguished Daf & Tombak instructor and performer, Jalal Kimia and his assistance, Ruhi Afnan.
